The Nutcase Revolution!
Nutcase Helmets was founded in Portland, Oregon by designer and former Nike Creative Director Michael Morrow.
Launched in spring 2005, Nutcase is now sold throughout the United States and the style revolution is taking hold in Canada, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
With helmet laws evolving in many countries and already legislated in countries like Australia, Nutcase are now inspiring people to want to wear helmets instead of through fear or by nagging parents.
“People are not going to wear helmets any less in the future, so somebody has to make them more exciting to wear. That ‘somebody’ is Nutcase!” says Morrow.
The Nutcase range meets Australia/New Zealand safety standards and in other countries meets relevant US, EU or local standards.
Design Features
Nutcase Helmets are made for multiple sports:
STREET & LITTLE NUTTY – Bike, skate, roll
WATER – Paddle, surf, raft
SNOW – Ski, snowboard, tobogan!
Nutcase’s quality helmets include:
• ABS injection hard shell
• Classic 11 vents style in Street, Water, Snow
• Rip Shell styles in Snow
• Cool matte or shiny gloss surfaces depending on style
• Nutcase imprinted quick release buckles (Classic) or Gen2 Magnetic Buckle (Gen2 only)
• Nutcase pattern full surround EVA interior for a great fit
• Complies with relevant Australian and worldwide safety standards
PLUS, Nutcase Gen2 Helmets (all new releases since 2011) feature the new Nutcase Magnetic Buckle system.
The Nutcase Gen2 is the recipient of the 2010 Eurobike Award.
